Sepid poetry is a type of Modern Persian poetry.
The word "sepid" means "white" and it refers to a certain class of Persian poetry initiated by Ahmad Shamloo and came to its mature form and general acceptance after Bijan Jalali.
Sepid poetry is a kind of free verse that departs from the tightly balanced rhythm and rhymes of classical Persian poetry.[1]
For the last two decades of his life, Manouchehr Atashi was also involved in Sepid poetry.
